My name is Paul and I’m a curate in the Church of England, currently serving churches in a village called Kidlington. I grew up in Norwich, and my parents brought me up in the understanding that faith mattered. When I left home I went to work for Youth For Christ in Sunderland, preaching to and teaching young people about this guy called Jesus. After a while I realised I needed to study more, so I hopped on a plane to the United States, studying at Eastern University and reading classic books in the Templeton Honors College. I also met my wife, and when our son was born we, like many people, re-evaluated our priorities. That led me back to studying, this time at the University of Oxford. While there I felt called to be a priest in the Church of England, which led me to study at Cranmer Hall in Durham, and then back to Kidlington.
